Back in 2022-2024, I lived in the Hudson Valley, New York. I worked in a storefront in Beacon selling my handmade illustration merchandise, flower crowns, jewelry, and other handmade goods. I did this alongside Lauren, stylist and creator of Hyperspace Vintage, an epic vintage company. I have always loved expressing myself through costume curation and modeling in the eclectic and nonsensical outfit combinations I’d assemble. At one point after having worked next to Lauren in the shop for a while, I started making random outfits with her stock, and I had a blast doing so. One day we decided to do a product shoot for her collections, and Lauren styled a few looks for me (not without a bit of my input as well!). Her dad, professional photographer Bruce Kushnick, shot the scenes. Here’s the magic that came out of our collaboration that day. This was the group of us.
